Joe Lorono is as excited to start a project today as he was in 1985 when he built his first home. He has passed his perfectionism and work-ethic to his two sons, Joe and Frank, who have joined the ranks and learned craftsmanship, design, and a boots-on-the-ground style of managing a job site.

Joe Lorono founded the company in 1985, watching craftsmen grandfathers design cabinetry as a boy. His sons Joe Jr. and Frank joined as partners. By 2020 the Rye Record counted more than 100 custom homes in Rye. It is impossible to drive through town without seeing a Lorono-built house.
